A: First, make sure you’re using the latest version of MyChembur and try reopening the app. If the issue continues, email us with your device model, iOS version, and a screenshot or screen recording if possible.
Q: How do I open the original source for a story?
A: Open a story card to view the full article, then tap Read original source to open the publisher’s page in Safari.
Q: How do I share a story?
A: Open a story in the feed and tap the share button in the top-right corner. MyChembur will prepare a share sheet so you can send the story to other people.
Q: Why did the app ask for my profile details during onboarding?
A: Onboarding helps us store the details needed to manage your app setup and push notification preferences. If anything needs to be corrected, contact us and we’ll help.
Q: How do push notifications work?
A: If you allow notifications during onboarding, MyChembur can send updates when new stories are published. You can also disable notifications anytime from iPhone Settings.
Q: I’m not seeing the latest stories. What should I do?
A: Check your internet connection, close and reopen the app, and make sure you’re on the latest version. If the feed still looks outdated, send us the app version and build number so we can investigate.
Q: Can I suggest new categories or local story ideas?
A: Yes. If there are community topics, neighborhoods, or local stories you’d like to see in MyChembur, send your suggestions to [email protected].
