What can I read in MyChembur?
Browse Chembur news, parenting, events, dining, lifestyle, real estate, and spotlight stories. Use the category filters to explore the topics available in the app.
Do I need an account?
You can browse and read without signing in. Sign in with Apple from Settings or Saved to save stories and sync your collection across devices using the same account. Onboarding does not ask for profile details.
How do I save or remove a story?
Tap the bookmark button on a story to save it, then find it in Saved. Tap the bookmark again to remove it. An internet connection is needed to sign in and sync; changes waiting to sync are retried when connectivity returns.
How do I open a source or share a story?
Open a story and tap Read original source, when available, to visit the publisher’s page. Tap the share button to share the story with friends and family.
Stories, images, or saved items are not updating. What should I do?
Check your internet connection, reopen MyChembur, and make sure you have the latest app version. For saved stories, check that you are signed in to the same Apple account. Previously downloaded content may remain available, but new stories, images, and source pages need a connection.
How do I manage notifications?
Allow notifications when prompted to receive local updates. You can change this choice in iPhone Settings → Notifications → MyChembur. Reading stories does not require notification permission.
How do I sign out or delete my account?
Open the app’s Settings and choose Sign out or Delete account in the Account section. Signing out keeps synced stories in your account; pending changes remain on the device until you sign in again.
Delete account requires confirmation with the same Apple account and permanently removes your account, profile, and saved stories. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. Contact us if you need help with deletion or other information held by the service.
