As Mumbai celebrates Anant Chaturdashi on Friday, September 25, traffic restrictions have been announced across the city to manage Ganpati Visarjan processions and crowds.
Chembur is among the eastern suburbs that will see traffic changes.

If you’re travelling through these areas today, allow extra time and follow instructions from traffic personnel on the ground. Mumbai Traffic Police have advised commuters to avoid unnecessary travel through immersion routes wherever possible.
Across Mumbai, 84 roads and connecting stretches are being closed to vehicular traffic, while 20 roads will operate as one-way stretches during the city’s visarjan arrangements.
