Chembur’s connectivity boost is almost here. Mumbai authorities have now sought final safety clearance to extend Metro Line 2B up to the Chembur station, a key step before opening it to the public.
Once operational, this stretch will create a powerful interchange hub, connecting the metro with the monorail and Chembur railway station making travel across Mumbai far more seamless.
Located near Diamond Garden and close to V N Purav Marg, the station is expected to significantly improve access to areas like BKC, Kurla, and beyond.
With construction nearly complete and approvals underway, Chembur is now just one step away from a major infrastructure upgrade. A faster, more connected commute could soon be a reality.
